Moose Jaw conference to focus on early learners

Moose Jaw will be hosting a conference for early years educators and experts to present their research and experience on how to support the growth of children under 9.

The three-day International Early Learning Conference will feature the theme “Believe in Our Future” and is open to teachers, caregivers, policymakers, health professionals and more. The conference will kick off with a social “Recess & Refreshments” event focused on research about the value of play, with attendees invited to mix and mingle. There will be a number of talks and panels by experts throughout the next two days, with topics such as brain research into behavioural growth by Dr. Sarah Aiono and the “next 1000 days” of a child’s life by Mark Tremblay.

Each day will also include breaks for food and vendors representing various education and child development-related services and products. Professional conferences like this represent a great opportunity for networking, with attendees often exchanging Business Cards and social media handles. Past editions of the conference have attracted over 600 people as well as several exhibitors and experts. The event is organized by the Moose Jaw-South Central Early Childhood Coalition, with support from local volunteers and partners.

The 2025 International Early Learning Conference will take place at Temple Gardens Centre in Moose Jaw from May 7 to 9.
