With the arrival of spring’s warmer weather, many kids will be wanting to get out on their mountain bikes. A clinic is planned for the Moose Jaw area that will help them to do so safely.
A variety of topics will be covered during the Learn2MTB sessions, using hands on instructional techniques that are designed to be fun. Those who take part will learn more about a variety of skills that they can use when handling their bike and improve their overall trail-riding techniques by engaging in special drills, games, and other activities. Catalog printers can create manuals and other course materials for classes such as this.
The course begins on May 7 and runs on Saturday mornings for seven weeks. The cost to take part is $25. In order to participate, those who register must be a member of the Saskatchewan Cycling Association (SCA) and the Moose Jaw Pavers cycling club. It is open to those aged eight and over, and parents are strongly encouraged to attend along with their children. Those who are interested in taking part are asked to register before April 30.
