Fundraiser highlights Moose Jaw murals

The All Things Murals celebration is taking place at the end of August in Moose Jaw.

There are currently 47 murals on various buildings throughout the city, which depict a variety of historic buildings, activities, and people.

The evening will start off with a one-hour tour of the downtown murals, which will be viewed from a trolley. Later in the day, guests will have the chance to see the unveiling of the newest mural in the city, with proceeds from this event going towards the programs of organizations Tourism Moose Jaw and the Murals of Moose Jaw.

After the tour, there will be a Fowl Supper. In addition to the meal, guests will learn all about the mural process, as well as listen to a guest speaker and attend storytelling corners. There will also be door prizes and a silent auction.

To make sure that as many people as possible know about this event, Tourism Moose Jaw has likely invested in products from brochure printers. These Booklets can then be distributed through the mail, as well as at tourist offices or as inserts in local newspapers.

All Things Murals is being held on August 29 at the Sportsman Centre. The trolley tour will begin at 12:00pm. To find out more about this event, such as the cost of tickets and the times of the dinner, call 306-693-8097.
