The event will be looking to build up the success of their recent #1 Canadian country radio hit “You Didn’t Hear It From Me” and the follow-up single “Someone I Know”. The band will be performing recent hits as well as popular songs from their 11-year tenure, such as “Meet Your Mama” and “Over All Over Again”. Country duo Ryan and Rory will be the band’s chief supporting act.
The James Barker Band tour will be the second edition of the Buckle Up Tour, a coast-to-coast country showcase organized by Bud Light. The prior edition took place last spring and was headlined by Owen Riegling. Major concerts and festivals often showcase sponsoring brands by investing in banner printing and signage.
Eponymous frontman James Barker is quoted in promotional material as saying:
“We've got so much new music and will have even more out by the time we hit the road. It's going to be the party of the year, at every stop between the Atlantic and the Pacific, we can't wait to see everybody!"
The Buckle Up tour featuring the James Barker Band will appear in Moose Jaw on November 20 at the Temple Gardens Centre.
