Business owners and not-for-profit organizations are invited to attend the Whitby Chamber of Commerce’s 2016 Annual Mayor’s Luncheon.
The event, which will feature remarks from Mayor Don Mitchell, will give those who attend a chance to meet with both their colleagues and others from the local community.
This will be the first time that the Mayor has addressed the Chamber, and it is expected that he will be speaking about the town’s approach to business and how it will continue to support it as it moves into the future. Those who attend functions such as this may want to have plenty of luxury business cards on hand to give out to any contacts that they may make while they network with one another.
The luncheon is open to members and nonmembers alike. The cost for the event is $50 for those who are in the Chamber and $60 for guests. It has been scheduled to take place on May 11th at the Royal Ashburn Golf Club, which is located at 995 Myrtle Road West. It will start with registration at 11:30 am, followed by the meal that will begin at 12:00 noon and run until 1:30 pm.
