Many families have their own holiday traditions, and those who call Whitby home may soon have a new one to add to their list, as Pickering Museum Village has created a new way for local residents to safely experience the excitement of the holiday season.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the museum will be hosting a drive thru tour. Each family is invited to register for a slot ahead of time, and the tour will take about 35 minutes to complete.
Everyone who attends will be treated to colourful displays and the chance to learn about holiday traditions from the past. Even Rudolph will have the chance to tell his story, and Santa himself is also set to be getting in on the fun. The admission fee is $20 per vehicle. All ages are welcome to attend, and slots can be booked between the hours of 10am until 4pm.
