People of all ages gearing up for Newmarket events

The residents of Newmarket are preparing for two family events which are set to take place in the area next month.

The first will be Newbarket, an outdoor event catering for dogs and their owners, who will get to enjoy a Pooch Plunge and a Kids Zone. There will also be demonstrations from the Ultimate Air Dogs of Canada and the High Flying Canines. In addition, vendors will be in attendance selling a wide variety of related merchandise.

Vendors can rent a 10x10 ft space at the event for $50. It's also possible that local animal rescue organizations will be in attendance to promote their services and even showcase some of the pets up for adoption.

The Newmarket Buskerfest is taking place later in the month. It will feature plenty of street performers, such as jugglers, magicians, and puppeteers. There will also be stage performances, face painting stalls, caricature artists, and circus performers. It will be a great opportunity for local performers to get some much-needed exposure.

Both of the events will likely be advertised thoroughly in the Newmarket area. Local printing companies might well provide products such as Flyers and Brochures to help organizers boost visitor numbers.

Newbarket will take place from September 8-9 at Lions Park; admission is free.

The Newmarket Buskerfest will be held at Newmarket Riverwalk Commons on September 21 from 10:00am - 7:00pm. Admission is free and children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
