The show will be an interactive concert featuring stories and humour touching on all parts of Canadiana. The duo will perform songs from legendary Canadian songwriters ranging from Neil Young and Leonard Cohen to Gordon Lightfoot and Stompin’ Tom Connors.
The performing duo is made up of David Skolnick and Dr. Tom Hamilton. Both men will perform vocals as well as play a bevy of instruments such as piano, accordion, guitar and mandolin. The Wander Duo has previously been featured at the Mariposa Folk Festival as well as Canadian venues ranging from Queens Park to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
The pair have been performing “From Sea to Sea” throughout Ontario in recent months, and are now bringing the show to Newmarket. Concerts like this one often use local radio, flyer printing, and other grassroots advertising methods to reach area music lovers. Advertising for the Wander Duo emphasizes their musical skills:
