BBQ lovers may rejoice that the Northern Heat Rib Series is returning to the Newmarket region.
Considered the 25th largest mall in Canada, the Upper Canada Mall will be hosting the upcoming Newmarket Rib and Beer Fest. The fest brings barbeque lovers from around Newmarket together to enjoy a range of flavourful ribs and beers.
Attendees will be able to vote for their favourite combinations of ribs and sauces while at the same time entering to win a $100 gift card. The festival will also feature a wide range of beers, wines, coolers and spirits for attendees. This weekend-long festival will also feature a variety of live music, from country and rock to mash-ups, including local favourites like Lakeside Groove, CJ Cooper, Wicked Truth, Little Peter and the Elegants, Sandra Good Band and several tribute bands. There will also be a kids' zone so the whole family can enjoy the festival.
Often, at cook-off festivals, contestants invest in banner printing to help draw attention to their offerings and make it easier for attendees to remember their favourites.
