An information session is on the way for Newmarket that may be of special interest to anyone who can use a break when it comes to their hydro bill.
This session, which introduces the electricity assistance program, will soon be on offer at the Newmarket Public Library located at 438 Park Avenue. It will be facilitated by a representative of NT Power, and will run for one hour.
During the activity, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about supports such as the Electricity Assistance Program. They will learn how the initiative works and the different options that have been made available, what income levels qualify and also how they can apply if they feel it's a good fit for them. Anyone who can’t attend the information session in person will be able to watch a reading online and also on NT Power’s social platform, and the function is on offer free of charge.
Many households would like to learn about ways they can make their budget stretch. An information session provides a way for them to learn how to do so, and a brochure printing company can craft leaflets and other materials that supply additional details.
This chance to learn how a household can trim its hydro bill will be on offer on April 2nd, starting at 6:30 pm. Anyone who is interested is welcome to drop in.
