When it comes to celebrating local businesses, Newmarket likes to add a unique twist and bring the community together.

Riverwalk Commons is located along the waterside making it a Newmarket favourite destination for outdoor activities and live events throughout the year including the upcoming 2025 Newmarket Craft Beverage Festival.

The annual Newmarket Craft Beverage Festival is a celebration of craft beers, ciders and spirits from Ontario producers. Event attendees will have the opportunity to meet the proud producers behind these products as well as try them for themselves. With over 15 options to choose from, attendees can try 4oz or 8oz drinks and pair their new favourite summer beverages with food from different local vendors. While sampling refers to local beverages, festival attendees can also enjoy live music from local artists. Attendees can try their luck playing some of the games, including king corn, axe throwing, and giant Jenga.

Craft beer festivals are an ideal way to try new beverages from companies that are just starting out or attendees may have never heard of before, some of these vendors may even only sell directly from their stores rather than through distributors which is why they will often use brochure printing to share information with attendees on how they can purchase after the event.

The 2025 Newmarket Craft Beverage Festival will take place at the Riverwalk Commons, located at 170 Doug Duncan Dr, Newmarket, in the P3 Parking Lot, from June 13th to 14th, 2025. The event website has additional information about the festival and how to obtain tickets.
