The Newmarket Chamber of Commerce helps its members to promote their business, connect with other members, build a network of colleaques and access information and educational resources; currently there are over 700 members. Business Cards and other printing services products are important tools for Chamber of Commerce members.

The Newmarket Chamber of Commerce holds numerous member events throughout the year. These events, for which members register in advance, include monthly orientations, consultations with business experts, an annual barbecue, an annual general meeting, a holiday open house, monthly networking breakfasts, luncheons, speed networking events, after hours networking events, workshops and seminars.

Members also vote for Chamber of Commerce board officials. In addition, members get discounts on board room facilities. The Chamber of Commerce also hosts an annual golf tournament, the Business Excellence Awards and the Newmarket Home and Lifestyle Show. Membership in the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce cost from $210 to $607 depending on how many members are employed by the business.

The goals of the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce are, in their own words: "To promote trade and commerce, and contribute to the economic and social well being of the community; To encourage the development of new and existing industries and businesses in Newmarket; To offer programs and services to assist members in expanding their business base; To promote business excellence and a high standard of integrity; To develop public policy which supports economic growth and To strengthen the organization by increasing its membership and resource base.
