Newmarket car club schedules summer celebration

A Newmarket activity will bring some extra excitement to August, and it will be filled with four-wheeled fun.

The Highway 11 Cruisers car club has organized its Summerfest Car Show, and it will welcome vehicle buffs at the Sharon Temple Museum. The registration fee per entry is $10, and everyone is encouraged to stop by and show their support.

The vehicles on display will range from rat rods to classic cars, and trucks, motorcycles and even tractors are also welcome to roll in for the day. Music will add even more fun to the experience, and there will be an assortment of vendor tables. Parking is available for those who carry a mobility permit.

To help make the function a community builder, the organizers explained that they will be collecting donations for the show’s charity of choice. Two collection drums will be set up on site for this.

Along with the rest of the activities, the Club will be selling a variety of Promotional Products. Anyone who would like to purchase some of these mementos of the day can do so at its Club Trailer.

The Highway 11 Cruisers Car Club has scheduled its Summerfest Car Show for August 18th. It will begin at 11:00 am, and is just one of the activities the group has in store for the upcoming season.
