July 1 will be extra special for at least one area resident, as a Newmarket comic shop will be the site of the release his latest work, which includes a character with an autism spectrum disorder.
Cameron Currie will be on hand to launch his newest publication, which he has titled ‘Depends on the Strength of the Yes’. This is his third published work, and the first he has written that involves a character with autism, which is something he has a lot of experience with. His two children are living with this condition.
Currie’s previous literary efforts include ‘Shiv’ and ‘A Human Number’. All three of his Books will be promoted, with autographed Copies of each for sale. He will also be able to answer any questions and receive comments from the public. Copies of the novels will continue to be available for purchase at the shop after its official launch day. A printer can produce a variety of Promotional Products that can tie in with this type of function, such as bookmarks, Pens, Posters and Banners.
The event will coincide with the area’s yearly Kanata Summer Festival and is scheduled to take place on July 1 at the Fourth Dimension comic shop, located at 237 Main St. S. in Newmarket. Everyone is welcome to come out and meet the author in person.
