The Newmarket Jazz Festival is taking place in various venues in downtown Newmarket this August. A portion of all proceeds will go to benefit Future Aces.
The festival has a lot to offer this year, as there will be musical performances, film workshops, dance, and poetry. Some of the musicians confirmed to appear are Julian Troiano and Sounds Caribbean. Vendors will be selling arts and crafts, food, and other items.
The Creative Kids’ Zone, at Lions Hall, will feature arts and crafts, music, face painting, workshops, and pictures with favorite Disney characters. The Newmarket Library will also be hosting a ‘Maker Faire’.
Additionally, there will be a Festival Family Day on the last day. This is expected to feature the Cheetahs Cheerleaders, a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, and a puppet rock show.
Vendors can rent a booth for $120, or $180 if shared by two artists. All items must be originally produced.
Banner printing services may have been ordered for this Newmarket event, as Banners can be used to recognize sponsors or make stages look more colorful.
