The 3rd annual Newmarket Jazz Festival gets underway today.
The festival is set to bring some of the best jazz artists to the town this summer. Among the confirmed performers for this year's event are Six Ways to Sunday, Just Friends, Bernadette Connors, the Blackboard Blues Band, Sounds of Motown, Lofsky, and Francesco Yates.
The event will also feature a number of food establishments in the Vendor Village, and all ticket holders are eligible for a draw to win a five-star vacations for two. Guests will have access to a chill lounge and the Creative Zone. Those who buy VIP tickets will be treated to a private tent where they can purchase wine and beer.
Sponsorships are also available for local businesses.
This annual event brings a wealth of visitors to Newmarket each year. Local printing companies no doubt help to spread the word about it by supplying organizers with Flyers, signage and Posters.
The Newmarket Jazz Festival will be held at the Riverwalk Commons from July 31 to August 3. Tickets are $7.75 in advance or $10 on the day for adults and $4.75 and $6 for those between the ages of 13 and 19, while VIP tickets are $60 per day. Adult individual four-day passes are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate and $50 or $60 for a family pass.
