The Escape Reality Masquerade Gala is taking place next month in nearby King City. The evening is a fundraiser for Shine Through the Rain.
Guests are expected to wear a mask during the evening, which can be brought or bought at the event. Costumes are left up to the discretion of the guest.
There will be plenty of fun activities during the evening, including a performance by mentalist Ryan Edwards. There will also be a balloon pop, musical entertainment and a photo booth. Guests will also enjoy a sit-down dinner, a silent auction and dancing.
The Shine Through the Rain organization provides help to families who are going through life-threatening illnesses. The Rainy Day fund provides financial help, while Rainy Day gifts send gift bundles to children. The organization also provides camp scholarships, along with Backpacks for the children attending them.
No doubt many attendees will be from nearby communities such as Newmarket. Local Print shops are often asked to provide items like Flyers or Invitations to help spread word of events like this in the community.
The Escape Reality Masquerade Gala will be held at the Cardinal Golf Club in King City on November 2 from 6:30 to 11:45 PM. Tickets are $100 each or $700 for a table of eight. Contact Cari Bruton at 289-378-6160 for more information.
