The Kanata Summer Festival is returning to Newmarket this Canada Day. It is presented by the City of Newmarket and will take place at several locations in the city.
The day will start off with a pancake breakfast at the Newmarket Community Centre hosted by the Newmarket Car Club. Tickets are $4 and it will be served from 8:00 am until noon.
Fairy Lake Park will be hosting several family friendly activities during the day. There are set to be bounce houses, BMX bicycle demonstrations, live entertainment, and various other children's activities.
Another event taking place during the day is the Sports Village which will be located at Riverwalk Commons. This will feature an extreme stunt team show and a stage show with performers like Cheetah's Cheerleading and The Time Cats Band.
The day will end with a fireworks display at George Richardson Park beginning at 10:00 pm.
To help make these types of events more visible, organizers of events in Newmarket often invest in items such as Posters and Banners from local printing companies. These can be hung outside the various venues or displayed in local public buildings.
