The 6th annual Waterloo Air Show is scheduled for two days this June.
This popular event is set to feature static airplane displays, a kids’ zone, a Food Truck Alley, and various vendors. There will also be several special in-air shows, including displays by the Canadian Snowbirds and the CF-18 Demonstration Team. On the ground, events will include the Jet School Bus, which can reach speeds of up to 367 mph, and the Wall of Fire.
One very special opportunity will be for visitors to buy a ride on a B-17 bomber called The Yankee Lady. This is a 45 minute ride and costs $450 for each person.
Guests can also take part in the Sky Chalet Experience. This will give them use of a reserved seating area, a hot lunch, and drinks. Each guest will also receive a souvenir calendar and have the opportunity to meet some of the performers.
The air show attracts visitors from all over the area, including nearby Kitchener. Local Stationery printers are sometimes asked to provide services such as flyer printing to help spread the word.
The Waterloo Air Show can be seen at the Kitchener/Waterloo Airport from June 28th to 29th from 10:00am – 5:00pm every day.
