A fresh market-style store will soon be opening its doors in Kitchener.
Farm Boy, which is a retailer based out of eastern Ontario, recently announced that it plans on opening its newest location in the city at 385 Fairway Road. This will be 22,000 square feet store and feature locally sourced meats, vegetables and cheeses.
There will also be a variety of prepared and packed meals on offer for those who prefer to let someone else do the cooking for them, as well as a large salad bar and eating area. A printing company will be able to provide Signs for this new store, as well as advertising Flyers, staff name tags, and any other printed items that are required.
According to Farm Boy’s chief executive officer, Jeff York, the firm is already exploring the area’s farms and other growers to find sources for the produce, along with the other items it will offer to its shoppers. It is expected that the site will provide employment for at least 150 people in a range of capacities, through a mix of part-time and full-time positions.
This will be the chain’s 19th store to open in the province, and the fifth outside of eastern Ontario. Mr. York remarked that the plan is to set up at least seven more over the next two years.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Signs
