Discover new techniques for decorating Easter Eggs this spring with an upcoming Easter Egg in Petrykivka Ukrainian Style workshop.
Olena Chorna Fine Arts is focused on sharing and preserving Petrykivka, folk art from Ukraine recognized by UNESCO. It will be hosting the upcoming Easter Egg (Pysanka) in Petrykivka, a Ukrainian Folk Art workshop.
During this workshop, Olena Chorna, a professional artist known for your expertise in Petrykivka Decorative Painting, will guide students through painting their own Easter eggs utilizing Ukrainian Petrykivka techniques. During the workshop guests will be able to learn more about the history of Petrykivka art and the symbolism incorporated into it. Then, Olena will give a live demonstration of Petrykivka painting techniques and teach students how to create leaves and flowers. From there, students will be able to put their new skills to the test and practice on paper before graduating to decorate their eggs.
