Those in Kitchener should mark a Saturday in December on their Calendars and head down to the Winter Artisan Market in downtown Kitchener.
For seven hours, this will be the place for people to find every item on their shopping list. Some of the best artisan vendors in the region will open their shops while live music sets toes tapping. Everyone’s favourite food and drink vendors from local restaurants will be there to offer up the selections that are must-haves on every party menu.
If a new skill is something on the bucket list, there will be festive cooking classes and crafting lessons to sign up for, and even one for the kids to make a sweet edible gift with Chef Nicole. Those interested should register early online to save a place for the whole family to share in the creating fun.
When the presents are all bought and the fridge is next to stock and stuff, people can head over to the Farmers Market and the Food Hall for specialty items not found at the corner grocery store.
Poster printing is often used to promote events such as this one.
The Winter Artisan Market will be held on Saturday, December 17th from 7 am to 2 pm on King St. E. Admission to the market is free, and more information can be found on the city events website. Prices for courses vary.
