Kitchener is a city that knows how to celebrate, and its biggest street party of the year is on the way for this summer.
'Cruising on King' will be a celebration for the whole community, and it will be one classic car lovers may want to be a part of. While these may be the main draw for many, there will be lots of other fun to be had, and all are welcome.
The cars and other classic vehicles, along with the rest of the gathering, will be set up along the section of King Street between Frederick and Water Streets, and the public can view them and even meet the owners. Tribute bands will be performing tunes by the Rolling Stones and The Beatles, and food will be available. Anyone who would like to relax with a cold beer can head to the licensed bar area, and the festivities will welcome one and all for four hours. The venue is accessible by public transit, and both car and bike parking are available nearby.
Choosing appropriate decor is one of the tasks often taken on by event planners. A poster printing company will be happy to lend its creative talents and Print expertise to a special occasion.
Kitchener’s first street party of the summer is scheduled for July 12th. The festivities will be ramping up starting 5:30 pm.
