The Kitchener area will be hosting an event that will give all those who take part a chance to take a step back in time.
Acceding to its organizers, the Royal Medieval Faire is one the premier events of its kind in the province. It is marking its 19th year, and there will be a variety of interactive and hands-on displays, as well as beverages and food, Celtic music, period games, demonstrations of swordplay and magic, and Irish dance, all with clothing and decorations that have been designed to be appropriate for medieval times. Vendors will also be on hand with booths set up where they will be displaying their merchandise for sale.
The event is intended to be family friendly, and is suitable for all ages. It will take place in Waterloo Park West on September 17, starting at 11:00 am. Adult tickets will be $10, while those for children ages 2 to 12 will be $5. Passes for a family of four will be available at a price of $20 each. The passes cover everything, except the cost of food, beverages and the vendor merchandise.
