Kitchener residents invited to spend time with their favorite book

An invitation has been issued to residents of Kitchener to take a break in their busy day and enjoy some time with a book in the warmth of the summer sun.

The Kitchener Public Central Library has organized an afternoon of reading in the park, and all will be welcome. Library staff will be on hand to give reading suggestions and talk about Books, and everyone is encouraged to bring along their favorite to read and discuss. A printer can supply pop up Banners that can be a good choice for use in promoting an outdoor event such as this.

The occasion will give those who take part chance to get to know other book lovers, and there will also be an opportunity for library card holders to check out new reading materials. The event is being offered on a free of charge basis and is open to all with no advance registration required.

Books in the Park has been planned for the afternoon of August 16th, and it will run from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. The group will meet in Victoria Park at the clock tower which is located near the bus terminal. It is open to people of all ages, and anyone who is interested in learning more about the activity has been asked to visit the city’s website for further details.
