Kitchener’s Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum provides members of the public with a venue where they can learn about their community's past, and it has organized some special historical holiday fun early next month.
The museum will be decking itself out in period-style decor for some special evening Sweets & S’mores Shindig sessions, and those who attend will be able to take a step back in time. The whole family is welcome, and both adult and children’s tickets are available.
When they arrive, the ticket holders can stroll through the venue, admiring the decorations and other festive elements. After this, they will be invited to warm up by one of the bonfires, and here, they can roast marshmallows and make some s’mores. Hot chocolate will be poured, and there will be special toppings available. Candies and other sweets will be served, and Santa Claus himself will also be stopping by.
Organizing a themed event may include choosing appropriate decor. A poster printing company will be able to lend a hand with crafting such materials, as well as providing swag and other items.
The Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum will be hosting two sessions of its Sweets & S’mores Shindig. They will be offered on Saturday, December 2nd and Sunday, December 9th, with both sessions set to get started at 6:00 pm.
