For many women who are expecting, the pain of labour can be a daunting prospect, but thanks to an online workshop, Kitchener mothers-to-be will have a full set of tools to call on when it comes to pain management during the birthing process.
The Natural Pain Management for Labour workshop is ideal for women and their partners who are feeling anxious about the birth of their child, who want to have a natural childbirth or who are just hoping to gather as much information as they can. The event is being hosted by Kitchener-based company, Balancing From Birth To Baby and will take place virtually and will be a three hour session, and it will explore a variety of options so that participants feel confident and prepared for birth.
The event will provide details about upright body positioning, the use of a TENS machine, massage, Rebozo techniques and other measures and the importance of partner support. The registration fee is $95 for a couple, and everyone who feels it could be helpful is encouraged to participate.
Hosting this sort of function in a virtual format may prove safer for all participants. Printed study materials can still prove to be effective in the learning process and these can complement virtual sessions well. A brochure printing company can help to create these resources.
This opportunity for parents-to-be to add to their labour and delivery toolbox will be on offer on November 10th. It will begin at 4:30pm.
