Kitchener kids to enjoy outdoor Easter fun

Schneider Haus National Historic Site is a popular Kitchener attraction, and to celebrate the arrival of spring, it will be offering local kids a chance to have some fun in the fresh air.

The site will be hosting some Easter-themed festivities, and everyone is invited to bring along a basket and join in the fun. Parents can enjoy watching the children participate in a variety of activities, and everyone will be asked to pay an admission fee.

The afternoon will have lots of activities on offer, and various start times have been scheduled. There will be a carrot toss, Easter scavenger hunt and even some bunny races, and the Region of Waterloo Library will be lending a hand by reading some springtime stories. Everyone will receive candy and other treats, and a bunny “tea garden party” is on the schedule as well. The fun is geared towards those who are aged 12 and under.

An Easter-themed celebration like this can be made even more festive by using professionally prepared décor, which can be obtained from a banner printing company.

Schneider Haus National Historic Site has invited local families to hop on down for its Schneider Haus Egg-stravaganza on Saturday, April 9th. Parents or guardians can choose the start time from the list provided on the function's online listing.
