Kitchener fashionistas to come together for a cause

Residents of Kitchener are invited to take part in an event that will blend fashion, shopping, music and style, all with the goal of helping others.

The 7th annual Fashion for Life/White Party is once again being hosted by Gemini Models. According to Audrey Wilson, who is the producer of the fashion show and also the owner of Gemini, it will be bigger and better than ever.

Demonstrations of the latest fashions will take place every hour starting at 8:00 pm, winding up at 10:00 pm. Each of these will last for approximately 20 minutes so that the audience can socialize and shop. Exclusive labels from Canada and around the world will be featured, all of which can be found at top retailers in the region.

The talents of local hairstylists will also be showcased, as they will be styling the hair of the models who participate in the fashion shows.

For the men who come out, there will be a special Gentleman’s Lounge in which they can have their hair styled by an onsite barber.

Guests at the event are asked to wear white to show their support for those with cancer. Funds raised through the evening will be donated to the Hope Transportation Program, which helps people with cancer get to and from treatment sessions. Corporate Gifts can be used to thank the main sponsors for events such as this.
