A special fall experience is on the way for Kitchener families, and it will be an activity that will combine fun with an opportunity to support local small businesses.
The Kinderfest Fall Fair will be celebrating its first year, and it will be a function that offers live entertainment as well as a variety of ways for the community to participate in hands-on activities. Bingemans will be the venue for the celebration, and the festivities will be up and running for seven hours.
The day will offer a carnival-style experience with games, rides and inflatables. Everyone can decorate a pumpkin cookie to eat or take home with them, and fall drinks and treats will be available for purchase. The s’mores station will offer a taste of an old-fashioned fall bonfire, and face painting will round out the occasion.
One of the parts of the activity the organizers hope will be especially popular will be its local vendor alley. This pop-up market will be a way to get a jump start on buying gifts for the upcoming holiday season. Small businesses at such festivals sometimes distribute Promotional Products and other premiums to the crowd.
