Kitchener community to celebrate Winter Solstice

This December, the Kitchener community is invited to attend the potluck-style Winter Solstice Feast.

Willow River Park, formerly Victoria Park, is the oldest park in Kitchener and is home to a wide range of trails, facilities, playgrounds, public art, and picnic shelters. Tickets to attend the event are free, but spots are limited, and tickets are required to reserve your spot ahead of time.

Those who attend this community event will enjoy live music and a community potluck-style dinner. Attendees are requested to bring a dish to contribute to the meal and list all the ingredients for those with food restrictions or allergies. Attendees will also be able to enjoy a silent auction and have the chance to win door prizes. Donations are requested to help cover the cost of the main meal, and funds raised from the silent auction will go towards operational costs for the Willow River Centre.

At events like the Winter Solstice Feast, event planners often ask organizations and businesses within the local community for donations. Utilizing Promotional Products as part of donations for events like this can be a great way to showcase local businesses and increase awareness and support for these organizations.

The Victoria Park Pavilion in Willow River Park is located at 80 Schneider Avenue, Kitchener. The Willow River Centre will welcome the local community for the Winter Solstice community potluck dinner at 5 p.m. on December 20th. Tickets are available to reserve on Eventbrite.
