Kitchener class to explore urban gardening

City dwellers who would like to have a garden may be “green with envy” at their rural and suburban neighbours, but an upcoming class will in Kitchener will show how they can also get growing.

The crew at Worm Wrangler offer an assortment of learning opportunities, and one that will be on offer in June will explore the wide variety of options when it comes to urban gardening. Nancy from Nancy’s Creations & Seeds will be sharing her expertise, and tickets for this class are priced at $35.00

The workshop will offer an introduction to the joy of container gardening and other ways that city dwellers can cultivate small spaces. The attendees will review the challenges and benefits of various growing systems, and they can also ask questions. Along with this, they will be able to meet their fellow green thumbs and share their own tips and tricks. The activity will run for approximately one and half hours.

Learning some new skills and techniques can be a lot of fun, and budding gardeners may appreciate this exciting opportunity. When workshops or classes like this take place, Copies of handouts can be prepared by area Stationery printers in preparation.

The team at Worm Wranglers will be hosting this introduction to city gardening on June 14th. It will begin at 7:00pm at 154 Victoria Street. The class is part of the organization’s 2024 Better Growing workshop series.
