National Grandparents’ Day will take place on September 12th, and a Kitchener small business will help grandkids to show them appreciation on their special day.
Crafty Crystal will be holding a workshop that will prepare a personal gift for their grandparents, and the participants will be able to personalize their project in a variety of ways. The registration fee is $35, and extra items may be purchased for an additional fee.
Those who register for the class will be crafting special wooden Signs that sport a three-dimensional Tree of Life design. Hearts that have been printed with family members’ names will complete the piece, which will be round and 10.8 inches in diameter, with three layers. Extra wooden hearts will be available, and they can be ordered in lots of 10 or 20.
The activity will be held in person; however, should health guidelines change, the registrants will be able to pick up a kit of supplies to get creative at home.
An activity like this can be a fun way to spend an evening. A flyer printing company will be able to create materials that can help make sure the community knows when and where such an event will take place.
