Beer fans from all over Ontario will be congregating in Kitchener this June for a festival that will put the province’s craft brewing industry on the map.
The Great Ontario Beer Festival will be showcasing small batch and other craft beers, and ciders and distilled spirits will also be in the spotlight. At least 30 different companies will be represented, and while the ticket holders relax and enjoy themselves, they will be doing a good turn for the charities set to benefit from the proceeds of the event.
The three-day-long festival will feature live music, and it will be on offer at Bingeman’s Event Space. Admission tickets include a sampling glass with a special Logo Design, and tasting tokens may be purchased for $2 each. Each four-ounce pour will cost one token, and a picnic area and games will be set up for the enjoyment of the guests. Soft-baked pretzels, a hot sauce tasting station, a dance party, a huge “empties” drive and fireworks are all also in the works for the weekend.
