The Kitchener-Waterloo area is a community that welcomes one and all, and this will be the theme for a local fundraising event.
Dubbed “Walk or Wheel”, event that will highlight the importance of inclusiveness, and the registrants are welcome to run, walk or roll using an assistive device around their neighbourhood. The funds raised will aid Extend A Family Waterloo Region in offering programming, and all support is welcome.
The organizers of the function will be offering WOW Activities Passports, and these will grant the bearer admission to an assortment of planned events. These will encourage the public to get outdoors and have fun in the fresh air, and the registration system for the fundraiser is now open. The attendees are asked to collect pledges, and the passports will be distributed ahead of the event. They can then partake in any of the activities they wish.
The support of the community helps to make a function like this a success, and the organizers often choose to offer an assortment of sponsorship options. Including the Logo Design of these supporters on the marketing materials for the function will let the public know they have decided to get involved.
The 2021 Walk or Wheel fundraiser will run from June 1st to June 14th. The passports will be distributed to the registrants on May 31st, and they will be made available at 91 Moore Avenue in Kitchener.
