Kitchener area book sale to help build scholarship fund

The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) believes in the value of education, and to help fund scholarships for local students, it has a huge book sale fundraiser in the works for the Waterloo area.

The CFUW Kitchener Waterloo chapter will be hosting its 56th book sale fundraiser, and it can be a chance for local bibliophiles to add to their collection. The publications will all be top quality, and both hard and soft cover titles, DVDs, CDs, sheet music and audiobooks will all be available for purchase.

To help make the sale as big a success as possible, the organizers have asked the local community to donate gently used Books that are in good condition. CDs, DVDs, audiobooks and sheet music will also be gratefully accepted, but planners explained that they can’t accept Books that are damaged, musty, or library discards. Reader’s Digest Condensed Novels, record albums, tapes, encyclopedias and out of date reference materials have also been listed as publications that can’t be included in the sale.

An event like this can attract a large crowd. A printing services company can craft bookmarks and other simple Promotional Products that can be handed out to attendees to thank them for their support.

This year’s CFUW Giant Used Book Sale has been scheduled for April 22nd and 23rd. First United Church is the location for the function, and it can be found at 16 William Street West in Waterloo.

At the time of writing, this event was still scheduled to happen.
