The Business Excellence Awards Gala is taking place in Kitchener this February, and is an annual presentation of the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce.
The event features a sit-down dinner and the handing out of the business awards in 12 categories. It is likely there will be an opportunity for those attending to get in some networking before dinner is served; possible with cocktails being served.
The categories of the Business Excellence Awards include Business of the Year (two awards are offered for those with over 20 employees and those with 20 and under). Awards are also handed out to show recognition of such aspects as innovation, environmental awareness, charitable deeds, young entrepreneurship, and workplace wellness.
These awards are given out to those who have shown superior ability and have had great success in their business dealings. The finalists were nominated by either their peers or themselves and winners were chosen by a Chamber committee.
For events such as these, Kitchener printing companies are often asked to help produce Invitations, tickets, or advertising Flyers which are then distributed to those who are interested in and likely to attend such functions, as well as to all Chamber of Commerce members.
The Business Excellence Awards Gala is taking place at Bingemans on February 20 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Tickets are $175 for Chamber members and $200 for non-members, or tables of eight are available for $1,300 or $1,475.
