Fans of electronic dance music (EDM) from across the GTA are invited to take part in a two-day festival at Downsview Park that will bring together 30 different acts from all over the world.
The VELD music festival will be celebrating its fifth year in the park, and its organizers have planned for it to be bigger and better that ever. Along with the music, there will be food, dancing and fun.
A wristband will be issued to all ticketholders at the gate, and it must be worn on the right wrist at all times.
In order to help make the cost of attending the two days of fun as affordable as possible, several local hotels have partnered with it to offer their lowest rates to those who will be attending the event. Anyone who Books a room at one of these establishments will be given a $20 discount of their VELD tickets.
The VELD festival has been scheduled for Downsview Park for July 30 and 31. The music will start off on both days at 11:00 am and will last until 11:00 pm. Tickets start at $159.50 for a general admission pass and $229.50 for a VIP pass.
