Over 1 million locals of the City of Toronto and tourists turned up for September 29’s Nuit Blanche, a world-renowned celebration of avant-garde art and a contemporary and innovative show of over 3,000 artists, hailing locally, nationally, and internationally. This year’s event boasted in excess of 150 projects.
Held only over one night, Nuit Blanche has become a Toronto tradition, with subway lines, beginning in Downsview, running all night to accommodate spectators on hand at the event, which runs from sunset to sunrise one autumn night every year.
In addition to more than 700 different art projects, about 100 different independent arts projects also rely on the exhibition for publicity and exposure. Scotiabank teams up with partners at the City of Toronto to keep the event free and accessible, encouraging the spirit of inclusion at every exhibit.
Banner printing and poster printing always tend to be instrumental in helping to guide walking tourists throughout the city to various exhibits at this festival, all of which are numbered and grouped into zones. Perhaps the most important printing service in making Nuit Blanche a resounding success, however, is carried out by the brochure printers, as Brochures describe all of the artists, art exhibits, project details, and their inspiration and interpretation in detail.
Nuit Blanche is a vibrant and inspiring international tribute to the active and cutting edge arts culture of Toronto, made possible through the dedicated work of artists and local printers. The date for next year’s event has already been announced and it will take place a year today – October 5, 2013.Get a Free Quote for Brochures
