The well-known Australian rock band AC/DC will be setting off on a series of concerts to promote their latest album, and a stop was announced for Downsview Park in the GTA community of Downsview.
The group’s world tour, which has been named ‘Rock or Bust’, begins in Holland and continues on from there. This event is one of seven that are scheduled for Canada, starting late this summer and continuing on into the fall.
Tickets for the Downsview show have already gone on sale through Ticketmaster, at a cost of $138.50, which includes service fees. The last time that the band played in this venue was back in 2003, when they toured as the opening act for the Rolling Stones. Over 450,000 fans came out for that show, and it’s hoped that the turnout for this event will be just as high.
The park has a large open area and can easily accommodate shows of this size.
As with most rock concerts, there may be lots of different branded merchandise for sale to the fans. A poster printing company can create Posters and other souvenirs of the event for sale to concertgoers.
The final Canadian stop on the tour will be Vancouver, which is where AC/DC recorded their latest album. The Downsview Park show is set for September 10th.Get a Free Quote for Posters
