Many people who live in the Downsview area have a family member or friend who is impacted by Alzheimer's disease, and an upcoming fundraiser will provide a way to show them support.
The 8th annual Memory Ball will be a gala affair, and it promises to be a special evening for all who attend. Community leaders, young professionals and anyone else who would like to support the cause are encouraged to enjoy the experience, and when they do, they will be able to make an impact in their own community.
The plans for the occasion include live entertainment, and small bites will be served. An open bar service will be on offer, and a photo booth will be set up to capture all the fun. There will be a silent auction and raffle draw for experiences and gifts in kind donated by businesses and individuals in the local area, and while everyone is encouraged to attend in person, donations will also be most welcome.
The organizers of the have function noted that each guest will receive a swag bag filled with Corporate Gifts when they leave.
The 8th annual Memory Ball will be welcoming ticket holders at the '1871' Berkeley Church, which is located at 315 Queen Street East. It will run from 8:00pm until 2:00am on April 24th.
