Much to the delight of all local rib lovers, the annual Rib Fest will return to Downsview Park over the Labour Day weekend.
Gourmet ribs will be prepared by six of the most highly regarded rib teams in North America, including Canada’s own Billy Bones, from Fort Erie in Ontario.
In addition, there will be rib eating contests, midway rides, local vendors, a beer and wine garden, plus gourmet food trucks. Live music and entertainment will be performed on stage during the entire weekend.
Vendor applications may be submitted by calling 416-249-4000 or by email at info@downsviewparkribfest.com. Vendors may be expected to provide their own Promotional Products, including Signs, Flyers and Brochures.
The schedule for the festival over the Labour Day weekend is:
- Friday September 1st from 4:00pm to 11:00pm
- Saturday September 2nd and Sunday 3rd from 11:00am to 11:00pm
- Monday September 4th from 11:00am to 9:00pm
The event will be held at Downsview Park, at the Hangar Sport and Events Centre, located at 35 Carl Hall Road in Toronto, the outdoor event property can safely accommodate up to 40,000 visitors.
Organized by Superior Events Group Inc., this year’s event will be in sponsorship of Crafting For a Cure.
