Halloween expo coming to Downsview
Downsview will be hosting the Toronto Halloween Show expo this October, bringing all manner of spooky, creepy and macabre vendors to the neighbourhood.
The event, which describes itself as one of the biggest specialty Halloween markets in Ontario, is designed to be a showcase for sellers of Halloween-related goods, from decorations and costumes to make-up, haunted houses and more. Over 60 exhibitors will be present, with a full list to be announced. There will also be a number of events hosted throughout the week intended to celebrate the season and horror media in general. This will include a live four-hour afternoon broadcast from 102.1 The Edge, which will also be running ticket giveaways along with other local radio stations from the Toronto area.
The Halloween Show will also include a virtual reality photo booth designed to take spooky photos for social media and more. It advertises itself to exhibitors as a way to connect with a passionate audience and be advertised on radio partners. Sponsorship opportunities like banner printing and reusable shopping bags are also offered to exhibitors. Vendors may also include edible snacks such as baked goods and other artisanal creations, whether to sample for Halloween or just for a refreshment.
The 2024 Toronto Halloween Show will take place from October 11 to 13 at The Warehouse at Downsview Park.
