Food and Wine event to return to Toronto

The 19th annual Gourmet Food and Wine Expo is taking place over four days in Toronto in November, with large crowds expected.

The weekend will start off with a VIP Preview evening with attendees given the chance to enjoy the event before it opens to the general public. Guests will also be given opportunities to meet with many of the celebrity chefs and vintners who are scheduled to appear.

Several celebrity chefs will be appearing on the Food Network Stage during the show, including Roger Mooking. Tutored Tastings is set to host a number of seminars covering topics such as ‘World of Drinks’, ‘Taste like a Pro’, and ‘Best of the Best’.

Guests can also enjoy samples of food and wine, artisanal cheese tastings, and musical entertainment. Food tastings are paid for with tickets which cost $1 each; most samples cost between one and six tickets.

This event is likely to attract guests from all over the GTA, including those in Downsview. Local printing companies could have been hired to help design and Print marketing materials such as Flyers to let the public know about the upcoming event.

The Gourmet Food and Wine Expo is taking place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from November 15-17. Tickets are $20 on Friday and Sunday and $25 on Saturday. The VIP preview will be held on November 14 and tickets for this are $50 each. An elite pass is $50 for each day, and includes one free wine sample and a preferred entrance.
