Festival celebrates Canadian products

The Made in Canada Festival will be staged in Downsview this August, and aims to highlight goods from across the country.

The festival will feature over 150 vendors, offering products that have been certified made in Canada. This will include home and lifestyle items as well as food and drink reflecting Canada’s diversity, as well as classics like maple syrup and poutine. Adults can sip and savour local wine and beer at the Crafted in Canada Pavilion. There will also be live musical performances by over 30 artists reflecting the country’s famed music scene and live culinary demonstrations on the Chef Stage. For younger visitor, there will also be a Fun Zone with inflatables, carnival rides and other family activities.

Days will begin with a pancake breakfast and conclude with a drone show lighting up the night sky. The festival will also celebrate Canada’s rugged outdoors with the Great Canadian Lumberjack Show, where professional lumberjacks face off in competitions like log rolling and speed sawing. Visitors to the festival can enter into giveaways for products supplied by the vendors, with early arrivals receiving Made in Canada goodie bags. Trade events like this often see vendors using business cards to connect with customers and potential partners.

The 2025 Made in Canada festival will take place from August 22 to 24 at Downsview Park.
