The Exposure Show will be taking place in Mississauga over three days this weekend. Guests will have the opportunity to try out new equipment and learn from the experts.
The show will feature free seminars, shopping opportunities, keynote and vendor presentations and Hands-on Labs.
The three keynote speakers are set to be Dave Cross, who will be talking about the ‘Basics of portraiture’; Dixie Dixon, who will talk about how to discover your niche; and Scott Kelby will discuss ‘Photoshop portrait retouching secrets for photographers’. In addition, there will be exotic animals to photograph and a high school photo contest exhibit.
The Hands-on Labs give photographers the chance to try out eight new cameras from major companies such as Canon and Nikon. Experts from the School of Imaging will be giving in-depth demonstrations of each camera. The cameras will also be available for sale before or after the event.
No doubt photographers from all over the GTA, including Downsview, will want to attend this show. Local Print companies are likely being asked to help design and Print advertising materials to help spread the word to the area’s photographers. This might be in the form of a flyer or a brochure.
The Exposure Show will take place at the International Centre from this Friday until Sunday. Admission is $20. Each Hands-on Labs demonstration is $10 and includes a free 8GB memory card and free admission to the show. All proceeds from the Labs will go to Leave Out School Violence (LOVE).
