Even in an urban environment, those who enjoy gardening can find a way to engage in the hobby, and an upcoming activity will answer any horticulture questions they might have.
Downsview residents who could use some advice when it comes to home horticulture may want to take advantage of the upcoming Toronto Master Gardeners Advice Clinic. It is part of the Toronto Master Gardeners program, which sees its membership give back to the community.
A selection of Master Gardeners will be on hand at the Withrow Park Farmers' Market for the final instalment of its Advice Clinic series for 2022. They will be sharing the most up-to-date information to those who stop by, and they will also supply tips that can be actioned at home. They will be able to answer questions about topics ranging from vegetable growing to integrated pest management and shade gardening, and they will be on-site at the venue for four hours.
Many people find a lot of value in giving back to their community, and being part of a larger organization offers a way for them to do so. Brochure printing and other marketing services for a not-for-profit group like this will be on offer at a local printer.
This wrap-up to the 2022 Toronto Master Gardeners Advice Clinic initiative will be held on October 15th. The kiosk will be open to the public starting at 9:00 am.
