The park will be unveiling its new renovated washrooms at the Canuck Pavillion as part of the celebrations with a cheeky “toilet paper cutting ceremony.” There will also be photos and light refreshments to mark the occasion. The unveiling will lead into the Park’s 8th Biannual Community Meeting. World Toilet Day is an international observance day sponsored by the United Day designed to raise awareness of the global sanitation crisis and encourage. It was created in 2001 and celebrated on November 19 every year since then. In addition to informal events like the Great Unrolling, organizations like WHO and UNESCO also holds workshops and developmental programs.
