It will soon be harvest time for Downsview Park’s orchard, and the community is invited to attend a celebration of the season. It will be filled with fall-themed fun, and there will also be an opportunity for guests to visit an urban u-pick.
Members of the community who are a part of this neighbourhood event will be welcome to take part in an assortment of activities that will all have a harvest theme. While there is no charge to be included in the function, spaces are limited and registration is appreciated.
The volunteers and staff at Downsview Park will be offering guided tours of the orchard, and there will also be a forest nature walk. Snacks will be served, and visitors will be invited to gather around the campfire to help take the chill off the early autumn afternoon.
Apple cider will be poured for guests, and those who are interested will be able to head over to Fresh City Farms to visit its u-pick for some fresh fruit and veg. Organizations can use Packaging supplies printed with the company’s Logo Design can be prepared by a local Print shop in anticipation of events such as this.
