The neighbourhood of Downsview is home to a large urban park that was the site of a Cold War-era air force base, and this venue will soon be transformed into a huge autumn-themed celebration.
Downsview Park is set to welcome guests for Pumpkinfest Toronto, which is being organized by the team at Superior Events Group. It will have offerings for all ages, with a run time of four days.
The fest will give local families lots of opportunities for fun. There will be a selection of inflatables, as well as other rides, and everyone can spend some time in the pumpkin patch. Local food trucks will be rolling in, and a petting zoo will give everyone a chance to make some new furry friends.
Along with the rest of the fun, everyone will be invited to support the assortment of small business vendors that will be setting up shop. There will also be lots of photo ops available for the crowd to enjoy. Photobooth backdrops, props and other large items for fests like this one can be prepared by Print shops.
Downsview Park will be celebrating the harvest season with its annual Pumpkinfest weekend from October 6th to October 9th. Each day will begin at 10:00 am, with the gates closing to the public each day at 6:00 pm.
